Small-group and private classes in Kemang, taught by teachers who grew up here.

One to one, at your pace, built around the conversations you need this month.
Most students arrive knowing “terima kasih” and not much else. Twelve weeks later they are chatting with their neighbours and negotiating with their landlord.
Morning, lunchtime and evening groups, each with a fixed teacher for the whole term.
Four weeks. Taxis, food orders, directions and polite small talk, for people who landed last month.
Twelve weeks. Talk with neighbours, staff and colleagues without switching to English halfway.
Meetings, emails and the formal register, so you know when “Anda” is right and when it sounds stiff.
One to one or for your whole team, in our Kemang classroom, at your office or online.
No app streaks and no flashcard guilt. In class you practise the conversations you will actually have this afternoon.
Most students stay because they can feel the progress by week three.

All our teachers are Indonesian and grew up speaking the language, several of them in Chinese-Indonesian families here in Jakarta. Each is trained to teach Indonesian as a foreign language and speaks fluent English. Some also teach in Mandarin.
Both, and when to use which. You learn the standard language first, then the informal Jakarta speech you actually hear on the street and in the office.
